This Modified C7 Has A Staggering Standing Mile Time

The new Chevrolet Corvette can hit the 200-mph mark in less than a mile. Talk about gettin’ it done. Popular Mechanics reports that TES Performance modified a C7 a few months ago to see if it could set a standing half-mile and one-mile record.

And it did pretty well. Its half-mile speed was 193.4 mph and the standing mile speed was 238.4mph. That makes it faster than production cars like the Bugatti Chiron.
