(ANNOUNCER)>> TODAY WE'RE MAKING UPGRADES TO OUR NEW SEARCH AND RESTORE F-350 DUALLY, ADDING THE KIND OF PARTS NEED TO RECOVER JUST ABOUT ANY VEHICLE FROM JUST ABOUT ANYWHERE. IT'S ALL TODAY HERE ON TRUCKS!

(KEVIN)>> HEY GUYS, WELCOME TO TRUCKS. WELL TODAY WE'RE FOCUSED ON MAKING A FEW MORE IMPROVEMENTS ON OUR SEARCH AND RESTORE RECOVERY VEHICLE, THIS 2011 F-350 SUPER DUTY DUALLY. AND JUST IN CASE YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT SEARCH AND RESTORE IS, WELL IT'S A BRAND NEW SHOW THAT'S COMING SOON HERE ON THE POWERBLOCK. CHECK THIS OUT.

( )>> THROUGH THE RUST AND DUST, THERE IS A SPIRIT THAT LIVES IN ALL OF US. A SPIRIT THAT RISES UP TO LEND A HELPING HAND, IT'S TIME. SEARCH AND RESTORE, IT'S THE VEHICLES, THE OWNERS, AND THEIR STORIES. FAMILY TREASURES AND LOST CAUSES ALL BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE. FROM COAST TO COAST, VOLUNTEER TEAMS OF PROS WILL DONATE TO RESCUE DREAMS. AND ON THE SET, ON THE ROAD, AND ON LOCATION, TEAM LOCTITE JOINS US RESURRECTING THE PASSION OF PERFORMANCE IN THE PREMIERE FOUR PART BUILD. IT'S TIME, THE PASSION OF PERFORMANCE IS RESURRECTED. SEARCH AND RESTORE, PART OF A NEW WINNING SPIRIT COMING TO THE POWERBLOCK SPONSORED BY LOCTITE.

(RYAN)>> NOW WE KNOW WHAT THE SHOW'S ABOUT, THE PROBLEM IS WE HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT WHERE THE NEXT PROJECT VEHICLE MIGHT BE SITTING. AND WITH A TITLE LIKE SEARCH AND RESTORE, IT KINDA IMPLIES WE'RE GONNA BE DOING SOME VEHICLE RECOVERY. AND EVEN THOUGH THIS 2011 F-350 IS LOADED TO THE GILLS FROM THE FACTORY, IT'S JUST NOT EQUIPPED TO EXTRACT A VEHICLE THAT'S BEEN STUCK IN THE MUD BEHIND SOME BARN SOMEWHERE, OR ONE THAT'S BURIED OUT IN THE FIELD UP TO ITS REARVIEW MIRROR IN TALL GRASS. SO WE'RE GONNA OUTFIT THIS TRUCK TO MAKE SURE WE CAN RECOVER OR EXTRACT ANY VEHICLE FROM JUST ABOUT ANYWHERE. SO WE'RE GONNA THROW A FEW PARTS AT THIS THING TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN, AND WE'RE OBVIOUSLY GONNA NEED A WINCH. AND SINCE THIS IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST TRUCKS AVAILABLE, WELL IT ONLY MAKES SENSE TO GET ONE OF THE BIGGEST WINCHES AVAILABLE. THIS IS FROM WARN'S HEAVYWEIGHT SERIES, AND IT'S THEIR 16.5 TI THERMOMETRIC WINCH. THIS MONSTER HAS 16,500 POUNDS OF PULLING POWER, AND COMES WITH SEVENSIXTEENTHS AIRCRAFT GRADE WINCH CABLE. AND WITH IT USING THERMOMETRIC TECHNOLOGY, WELL THAT JUST MEANS YOU CAN KEEP AN EYE ON THE MOTOR TEMPERATURE AND MAKE SURE YOU DON'T OVERHEAT IT. IT ALSO INCLUDES A HEAVY DUTY ROLLER FAIR LEAD, A HARD WIRED WINCH REMOTE, AND A WIRELESS WINCH REMOTE THAT HAS A RANGE OF 50 FEET. THAT WAY YOU CAN STEER CLEAR OF THE WINCH CABLE WHILE IT'S UNDER LOAD. YOU'LL WINCH MORE SAFELY. AND IN CASE WE NEED TO DO SOME WINCHING AFTER HOURS, WE WANT TO SEE WHAT WE'RE DOING. SO WE PICKED UP SOME DRIVING LIGHTS AND SOME FOG LIGHTS AS WELL. AND THAT WAY WE CAN MAKE SURE THAT WE GET THE VEHICLE WE'RE AFTER. THE PROBLEM IS THERE'S NO WAY TO MOUNT THIS STUFF ON THE STOCK BUMPER.

(KEVIN)>> NOW THE SOLUTION TO THAT PROBLEM IS THIS HEAVY DUTY BUMPER THAT WARN ALSO MAKES. NOW THIS IS SPECIFIC TO OUR 2011 F-350 SUPER DUTY, AND IT FEATURES HEAVY DUTY PLATE STEEL CONSTRUCTION. THEY USE HEAVY DUTY DRING TABS, AND INTEGRATED AND WELDED ON BRUSH GUARD, AND THESE COOL BEZELS TO FINISH OUT THE FOG LIGHTS. NOW THE WINCH MOUNTING PLATE WILL ACCEPT ALL OF THEIR HEAVYWEIGHT SERIES WINCHES INCLUDING OUR 16.5 WINCH. SO BEFORE WE THROW THIS BAD BOY ON, WE'RE GONNA LOAD IT UP WITH LIGHTS AND A WINCH.

COOL, ALRIGHT!

(RYAN)>> NOW BEFORE WE INSTALL THE WINCH INTO THE BUMPER, WE THROW ON THE CONTROL PACK. NOW THE WINCH IS ONLY AS STRONG AS THE MOUNTING PLATFORM AND HARDWARE USED TO HOLD IT IN PLACE. SO MAKE SURE ALL THE HARDWARE USED AND THE MOUNTING LOCATIONS ARE UP TO THE TASK.

(KEVIN)>> THAT'S A BIG BUMPER!

(RYAN)>> NOW FOR OUR WINCH WE'RE USING A ROLLER FAIR LEAD, AND THAT'S WHAT'S USED TO GUIDE THE CABLE BACK INTO THE WINCH DURING A PULL.

TO SECURE THE HOOK USE THE FACTORY SUPPLIED HARDWARE, AND DON'T FORGET THE COTTER PIN.

(KEVIN)>> NOW ONE OF THE COOL THINGS ABOUT EVERYTHING COMING FROM ONE COMPANY IS THAT IT'S ENGINEERED TO FIT TOGETHER. EVERYTHING COMES IN THE PACKAGING INCLUDING FASTENERS. ALL YOU REALLY HAVE TO DO IS AIM YOUR LIGHTS ONCE THE BUMPER'S FINALLY INSTALLED.

(RYAN)>> NOW BEFORE WE INSTALL OUR NEW HEAVY DUTY BUMPER, WINCH, AND LIGHT ASSEMBLY, WE WANTED TO THROW THIS THING ON THE SCALES AND SEE WHAT IT WEIGHS. IT LOOKS LIKE WE'VE GOT JUST UNDER 340 POUNDS, PRETTY STOUT. NOW I'M NO ENGINEER, BUT COMMON SENSE TELLS US THAT IF WE'RE GONNA ADD A FEW HUNDRED POUNDS OF WEIGHT TO THE FRONT END OF THIS TRUCK, WELL IT'S GONNA PUT MORE LOAD ON THE SPRINGS CAUSING THE BODY TO SIT A LITTLE BIT LOWER. SO WE WANTED TO TAKE A BEFORE MEASUREMENT BEFORE WE ADDED THE HEAVY WINCH AND BUMPER. IT LOOKS LIKE WE'VE GOT 39 AND AN EIGHTH INCH. THEN WE CAN ADD THAT HEAVY BUMPER AND HEAVY WINCH AND COMPARE IT TO AN AFTER MEASUREMENT. THEN WE CAN DECIDE A COURSE OF ACTION TO TAKE AT THAT POINT.

AFTER REMOVING A FEW BOLTS, WE REMOVE THE FACTORY CHROME BUMPER FOLLOWED BY THE CHROME TOW LOOPS. JUST KEEP TRACK OF THE FASTENERS. YOU'RE GONNA REUSE SOME DURING THE INSTALLATION OF THE NEW BUMPER, AND THAT STARTS WITH INSTALLING THESE NEW BUMPER MOUNTING BRACKETS. NOW THEY'RE HELD IN PLACE WITH GRADE EIGHT HARDWARE SUPPLIED WITH THE BUMPER.

(KEVIN)>> NOW OBVIOUSLY WE'RE LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE GIANT TOOLS TO ATTACH OUR GIANT BUMPER TO OUR GIANT NEW TRUCK. HOWEVER IF YOU DON'T HAVE AN OVERHEAD CRANE, YOU CAN DO THE SAME WITH A CHERRY PICKER OR JACK STANDS AND ABOUT EIGHT BUDDIES. BUT DON'T TIGHTEN EVERYTHING UP COMPLETELY UNTIL THE TRUCK'S DOWN AT RIDE HEIGHT UNDER ITS OWN WEIGHT. THEN YOU CAN PAY ATTENTION TO PANEL GAPS AND YOUR FINAL FIT.

(ANNOUNCER)>> UP NEXT, IT'S MORE UPGRADES SO WE CAN COME GET YOUR SPECIAL PROJECT, STAY TUNED.

(RYAN)>> HEY GUYS, WELCOME BACK TO TRUCKS. WELL WE'VE GOT OUR NEARLY 350 POUND HEAVY DUTY BUMPER AND WINCH HANGING OFF THE FRONT FRAME HORNS OF THE SEARCH AND RESTORE F-350. DESPITE ALL THE WEIGHT WE ADDED, THESE HEAVY DUTY COIL SPRINGS WERE NONE TOO IMPRESSED. WE'RE SITTING AT 38 AND THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH, WHICH MEANS WE ONLY DROPPED THREEEIGHTHS OF AN INCH. DEFINITELY NOT ENOUGH TO WORRY ABOUT RIGHT NOW. WE'LL KEEP AN EYE ON IT AND SEE IF THE SPRINGS SETTLE OVER TIME. IF THEY DO, WE CAN JUST COME IN AND ADD A SMALL SPACER TO THE TOP OF THE COIL SPRING. FOR NOW, WE'RE GONNA LET IT RIDE.

(KEVIN)>> NOW WHEN YOU LOOK AT THIS TRUCK, IT KINDA MAKES YOU WANT TO FILL UP THIS GIANT WHEEL OPENING WITH SOMETHING ELSE, BUT THE TRUTH IS WE DID NOT WANT TO SACRIFICE PRACTICALITY. AND THESE FORGED ALUMINUM WHEELS, THEY LOOK PRETTY GOOD, BUT THE TIRES ARE DECIDEDLY INTENDED FOR STREET USE AND THEY COME ON THE TRUCK FROM THE FACTORY. SO WE WANTED TO GO WITH SOMETHING WITH A LITTLE LARGER OVERALL DIAMETER AND A MORE AGGRESSIVE TREAD PATTERN WITH BETTER VOIDS FOR BETTER TRACTION OFF ROAD. THESE MICKEY THOMPSON ATZ'S ARE GONNA DO THE JOB.

(RYAN)>> NOW WHILE WE'RE WAITING ON THE TIRES AND WHEELS TO BE MOUNTED AND BALANCED, WE THOUGHT WE'D POINT OUT A FEW INTERESTING FEATURES OF THIS PICK UP TRUCK. FIRST, CHECK OUT THE THICKNESS OF THE ROTORS AND THE AMOUNT OF MATERIAL THAT'S IN THEM. YOU CAN TELL THEY'RE DESIGNED AND ENGINEERED TO ABSORB A LOT OF HEAT WITHOUT WARPING CAUSE YOU'RE GONNA MAKE SOME HEAT STOPPING THIS 7,000 OR 8,000 POUND TRUCK, NEVER MIND THE TRAILER THAT'S HOOKED TO IT. ANOTHER INTERESTING FEATURE IS THESE OUTER AXLE TUBE SEALS. THIS'LL PREVENT MUD FROM ENTERING THE AXLE AND SETTLING IN THE BOTTOM OF THE TUBE. NOW CRUD IN THE AXLE TUBE MAY NOT SEEM LIKE THAT BIG OF A DEAL, AND IT'S NOT UNTIL YOU HAVE TO REINSTALL AN AXLE SHAFT AND THE SPLINES GET PACKED UP WITH THAT MUD AND CRUD DURING THE REINSTALLATION PROCESS CONTAMINATING THE GEAR OIL. NOT WHAT YOU WANT! NOW FURTHER PROOF THAT THOSE COIL SPRINGS ARE HEAVY DUTY IS THE KINDA SMALL IN COMPARISON ANTISWAY BAR. YOU CAN TELL THAT THE COILS ARE DOING THE MAJORITY OF THE RESISTING BODY ROLL AND THE SWAY BAR IS JUST THERE TO COMPLIMENT THEM. NOW BEHIND THESE GIGANTIC RADIUS ARMS THAT ARE ATTACHED TO THE HEAVY DUTY SOLID FRONT AXLE IS SOMETHING THAT CAUGHT OUR EYE. IT'S THIS COMPOSITE LOWER OIL PAN. NOW WE'RE NOT SURE WHY THEY CHOSE A COMPOSITE MATERIAL. IT MAY BE TO FIGHT CORROSION ISSUES ON THE OIL PANS OF SOME OF THE EARLIER DIESEL EQUIPPED SUPER DUTIES, ESPECIALLY THOSE EXPOSED TO A LOT OF ROAD SALT. NOW THE REST OF THE OIL PAN IS ALUMINUM. SO WHY THEY DIDN'T GO WITH AN ALUMINUM LOWER PAN, WELL YOUR GUESS IS AS GOOD AS MINE. EITHER WAY, COMPOSITES HAVE BEEN PROVING THEIR WORTH IN VEHICLES FOR QUITE SOME TIME NOW. SO I'M SURE IT'S NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT, JUST KINDA INTERESTING. NOW EVERYTHING ON THIS TRUCK IS LARGE AND THE EXHAUST IS CERTAINLY NO DIFFERENT. FRANKLY IT LOOKS LIKE IT BELONGS ON THE SPACE SHUTTLE MORE SO THAN ON THIS TRUCK. NOW LIKE MOST LATE MODEL DIESELS, THIS ONE HAS A UREA, OR DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID INJECTION. THAT TAKES PLACE RIGHT HERE. THE FLUID IS INJECTED INTO THE EXHAUST, MIXES WITH THE CHEMICALS IN THE EXHAUST, AND PROVIDES CLEANER TAIL PIPE EMISSIONS. NOW IT'S ALSO GOT A DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER AND THAT CAPTURES ALL THE SOOT THAT THE ENGINE PRODUCES. FROM TIME TO TIME WHILE YOU'RE DRIVING IT GOES THROUGH A REGENERATION CYCLE AND BURNS OFF THAT SOOT. AND A BYPRODUCT OF THAT IS A LOT OF HEAT. THUS THE REASON FOR ALL THE HEAT SHIELDING. NOW WHILE IT MIGHT COST A LITTLE BIT IN EFFICIENCY, THAT'S THE REASON YOU DON'T SEE ANY BLACK SMOKE OUT OF THE TAIL PIPE OF LATE MODEL DIESELS. NOW AT THE BUSINESS END OF THIS THING IS A REALLY HEAVY DUTY REAR AXLE. AND IT LOOKS LIKE FORD TOOK A PLAY OUT OF THE AFTERMARKET PLAY BOOK AND SWAPPED OUT THE STAMPED STEEL DIFF COVER FOR A FINNED ALUMINUM VERSION. THAT'S GONNA LET THE GEAR OIL, GEARS, AND BEARINGS RUN COOLER, HOPEFULLY EXTENDING THEIR LIFE.

(KEVIN)>> HEY, WELCOME BACK TO TRUCKS. WELL THROWING A WINCH ON A PROJECT VEHICLE IS NOTHING NEW. YOU'VE SEE US DO IT BEFORE AND FOR VERY GOOD REASON, BECAUSE A WINCH HAS GOTTEN US OUT OF A TOUGH SPOT ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION, FOR EXAMPLE, WHEN WE PAID OFF OUR CHEEP CHEROKEE PROJECT A WHILE AGO.

(RYAN)>> EVERYTHING WAS WORKING GREAT. WE HAD PLENTY OF GROUND CLEARANCE SO FAR AND THEN THERE WAS A TIME WE WISHED WE HAD JUST A LITTLE BIT MORE. FOUND THE CENTER!

(KEVIN)>> THIS GIVES US A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO TEST OUT OUR WINCH.

(RYAN)>> COME ON!

(KEVIN)>> AND WITH THE HELP OF MIKE'S VERY CAPABLE UNLIMITED, PULLED US OUT OF TROUBLE EFFORTLESSLY. ( )>> YOU'RE UP OFF OF IT.

(KEVIN)>> AWESOME! SO THERE'S NO DOUBT ABOUT IT, A WINCH COMES IN HANDY AND IS ARGUABLE NECESSARY EQUIPMENT. SO WE THOUGHT WE'D TALK TO YOU ABOUT SOME OF THE MORE IMPORTANT ASPECTS OF INSTALLING A WINCH ONTO YOUR VEHICLE, WHETHER IT'S A STREET TRUCK, AN OFF ROAD PROJECT, OR EVEN A TRAILER, AND THE CONNECTIONS THAT ARE NECESSARY FOR THAT STARTING WITH THE BATTERIES. NOW MOST WINCHES IN AN AUTOMOTIVE APPLICATION ARE GONNA BE ELECTRIC. SO YOU NEED A POWER SOURCE TO RUN THE WINCH. THIS TRUCK HAS A DUAL BATTERY SYSTEM BECAUSE THE HIGH COMPRESSION DIESEL ENGINE NEEDS THE EXTRA CURRENT TO START IT. SO THE FACT THAT YOU'VE GOT TWO BATTERIES AND AN ALTERNATOR MAKE THIS A PRETTY GOOD CANDIDATE TO LEAVE EVERYTHING JUST LIKE IT IS AND RUN A WINCH THAT'S NOT GONNA BE USED VERY OFTEN. NOW IF YOU'RE RUNNING A DEDICATED TRAILER WITH A SINGLE BATTERY, NO ENGINE, NO ALTERNATOR, WELL YOU WANT TO RUN A DEEP CYCLE BATTERY. THAT'S BECAUSE THEY'RE DESIGNED TO BE COMPLETELY DISCHARGED AND BROUGHT BACK UP THROUGHOUT THEIR LIFE. IT'S WHAT THAT BATTERY'S FOR, BUT THIS TRUCK SHOULD BE OKAY. NOW WHEN YOU'RE CHOOSING A BATTERY, YOU PROBABLY WANT TO GET ONE WITH A TOP POST JUST LIKE THIS. THAT WAY YOU'VE GOT MORE CONTACT AREA FOR ELECTRON TRANSFER. YOU'RE GONNA GET MORE CURRENT THROUGH YOUR CABLES TO POWER YOUR WINCH. LET'S TALK ABOUT CABLES. NOW THIS IS A HEAVY DUTY 16,000 POUND CAPACITY WINCH. HEAVY DUTY WINCH NEEDS HEAVY DUTY CABLES. NOW THINK OF YOUR CABLES LIKE A CULVERT PIPE. IN THIS CASE THEY'RE FLOWERING CURRENT INSTEAD OF WATER. YOU WANT TO MATCH THE CABLES TO THE DEMANDS OF THE WINCH, HEAVY DUTY. THIS WAY YOU'RE NOT GONNA BURN UP THE WINCH CABLES THEMSELVES. AND KEEP THIS IN MIND TOO, IT'S NOT A CHASSIS GROUND GROUND DIRECTLY TO THE BATTERY AND THE HOT LEAD OF THE BATTERY. AND IF YOU'RE RUNNING A REMOVABLE WINCH LIKE WE DID ON THE CHEEP CHEROKEE, YOU WANT TO STEP UP A WIRE SIZE WHILE YOU'RE RUNNING FRONT TO REAR JUST TO MAKE SURE YOU'VE GOT PLENTY OF CURRENT FLOW THAT MATCHES THE DRAW. AND LASTLY, MAKE SURE THAT YOU'VE GOT SOME KIND OF A WINCH KIT THAT INCLUDES A TREE STRAP SO YOU DON'T MAKE MOTHER NATURE MAD BY STRIPPING THE BARK OFF OF TREES. YOU WANT SOME DRINGS, AND A PULLEY BLOCK CAN REALLY HELP AND EFFECTIVELY DOUBLE THE STRENGTH OF YOUR PULL AND GIVE YOU A LOT MORE OPTIONS WHEN IT COMES TO WINCHING OUT OF A TIGHT SPOT. AND REMEMBER TO GET SOME GOOD GLOVES BECAUSE THIS CABLE IS BRAIDED STEEL. YOU DON'T WANT TO HANDLE IT WITH YOUR BARE HANDS, AND IF YOU'RE PULLING BY THE HOOK, GRAB ON TO THE HOOK LEAD, THAT'S WHAT IT'S FOR.

(RYAN)>> HEY GUYS, WELCOME BACK. WELL WE OBVIOUSLY GOT OUR TIRES AND WHEELS BACK. AND DESPITE THEM BEING ONLY A SMIDGE TALLER THAN THE STOCK TREADS THAT WERE ON HERE, WELL THE SLIGHTLY MORE AGGRESSIVE TIRES GIVE THE TRUCK A TOUGHER OVERALL APPEARANCE.

(KEVIN)>> SO BETWEEN THE TIRE UPGRADE, A RATHER BEEFY FRONT BUMPER, AND A BORDERLINE OVERKILL WINCH PLUS A LOT ADDITIONAL LIGHTING, WE FEEL PRETTY CONFIDENT THAT THIS TRUCK IS NOW READY TO RECOVER JUST ABOUT ANY KIND OF A PROJECT VEHICLE NO MATTER WHERE IT IS. SO NOW WE'RE GONNA KICK IT BACK TO THE NEW TEAM FOR THEIR NEW PROGRAM, SEARCH AND RESTORE. WHETHER YOU'RE RESTORING A CLASSIC VEHICLE OR FIXING UP A LATE MODEL, SOMETIMES CLIPS AND FASTENERS, NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY TO KEEP UP WITH THEM, JUST END UP WALKING AWAY ON THEIR OWN. WELL WE FOUND A COMPANY CALLED MAG DADDY THAT HAS AN INTERESTING APPROACH FOR REPLACING SOME OF THOSE FASTENERS. YOU PROBABLY FIGURED OUT FROM THE TITLE THAT THESE CLIPS ARE MAGNETIC, AND THEY'RE DESIGNED TO REPLACE PUSH STYLE CLIPS, PLASTIC INSERTS, AND CAPTURED NUTS. BUT THE THING THAT WE FOUND THAT WORKS FOR OUR APPLICATION ARE THESE CABLE CLIPS. MACK DADDY USES A VERY STRONG EARTH MAGNET. SO YOUR CLIPS ARE GONNA STAY WHERE YOU PUT THEM, AND THEY MAKE RUNNING WIRING HARNESSES OR EVEN LINES A SIMPLE PROCEDURE. PRETTY COOL TOO!

(RYAN)>> HEY GUYS, IF YOU'RE WORKING ON A CHEVY TRUCK, NO MATTER WHAT YEAR IT IS, WELL CHANCES ARE CLASSIC PARTS OF AMERICA HAS YOU COVERED. NOW THE CATALOGS ARE GROUPED BY BODY STYLE OR GENERATION. THEY START OFF WITH A '47 TO '54, MOVE UP THROUGH '55 THROUGH '59, AND SO ON AND SO FORTH ALL THE WAY UP TO 1998. SO WHETHER YOU NEED PARTS FOR RESTORATION, TO MODIFY, OR JUST TO UPDATE YOUR CHEVY PICK UP, MORE THAN LIKELY YOU CAN FIND IT IN THESE CATALOGS. SO TO PICK UP YOUR FULL COLOR CATALOG, GET IN TOUCH WITH CLASSIC PARTS OF AMERICA.

(KEVIN)>> NOW EVEN WHEN THE STARS LINE UP AND THE PAINT GODS ARE SMILING DOWN ON YOU AND YOU GET A REALLY NICE, CLEAN PAINT JOB LIKE WE DID ON THE HOOD OF SUPER DUALLY, WE STILL GET THOSE TINY SURFACE DEFECTS THAT FALL INTO THE PAINT WHILE IT'S STILL WET. WELL DYNABRAID HAS A TWO STEP REPAIR SYSTEM THAT'S A PROVEN METHOD FOR REMOVING THESE MINOR SURFACE DEFECTS IN A BASE COAT CLEAR COAT SYSTEM LIKE WE'VE GOT HERE. NOW AFTER LOCATING YOUR DIRT NIB AND LUBRICATING WITH A LITTLE BIT OF WATER, STEP ONE IS USING THE DYNABRAID ORBITAL SPOT SANDER WITH AN ABRASIVE SANDING PAD AND LEVELING OUT THE TRASH NIB. NOW USE LIGHT PRESSURE AND LET THE TOOL DO THE WORK. AND REMEMBER, THIS DOESN'T TAKE VERY LONG. SO AFTER A FEW SECONDS OF SANDING, CHECK YOUR WORK. A CLEAN MICROFIBER IS A GREAT WAY TO CHECK YOUR WORK. WHEN YOU'RE READY TO MOVE ON, APPLY A LITTLE BIT OF COMPOUND AND MOVE ON TO STEP TWO, WHICH IS THE DYNA BUFFER. NOW ONE OF THE GREAT THINGS ABOUT THIS TOOL IS THAT IT'S VERY LOCALIZED, MEANING IT DOESN'T POLISH A BIG AREA AROUND THE DEFECT, AND IT DOESN'T SLING A LOT OF COMPOUND. NOW YOU CAN WIPE OFF THE RESIDUE WITH A MICROFIBER AND CHECK YOUR WORK. YOU CAN SEE JUST AFTER A FEW SECONDS OF BUFFING, THIS SURFACE DEFECT IS GONE. NOW IF YOU'VE GOT A PAINT JOB LIKE THIS AND YOU DON'T NEED TO CUT AND RUB THE ENTIRE SURFACE TO MAKE IT PERFECT, YOU CAN PICK UP YOUR OWN DYNA BRAID TWO STEP SPOT REPAIR SYSTEM FROM THE GUYS AT POWER TOOL BOX DOT NET. HEY THANKS FOR WATCHING TRUCKS, SEE YOU NEXT TIME!
