17 Cars Went Up In Flames At Newark Liberty Airport

A strange event took place at the Newark Liberty airport in New Jersey. Although it was single-digit weather in the area, a few cars were more than warm. Seventeen cars in the parking lot went up in flames. All but two were totaled out, making that a total of 15 cars that were deemed a complete loss.

Police are still investigating the fire, but one of the owners heard of the fires and rushed to the lot. He claimed that he had been working on his alternator a few weeks prior and said that it could have something to do with the fire outburst. In another strange turn of events, that same owner was arrested on the spot for having a suspended license and outstanding traffic warrants.
