5-Year-Old Steals Parents’ Car, Heads Out To Buy A Lamborghini
This may be one of the youngest joy-riders we’ve seen! A 5-year-old Utah boy was pulled over behind the wheel of his parents’ car by a Utah Highway Patrol.
UHP reported a trooper in Weber County initiated a traffic stop on what he thought was an impaired driver. Turns out, the driver wasn’t drunk but just a kid who could probably barely see over the wheel.
Trooper Rick Morgan said the boy didn’t respond to his lights but pulled over when he hit his siren on Interstate 15.
After talking with the child, UHP said he left home after an argument with his mom when she told him she would not buy him a Lamborghini. He decided he’d take the car and go to California to buy one himself with the $3 he showed the officer.
His parents were contacted and they came and took custody of their son and the vehicle.
