A GM Executive Crashed The 2019 ZR1 Pace Car



There was a delay at this year’s Detroit Grand Prix, but it wasn’t due to weather or track conditions. GM’s Executive VP of Global Product Development was behind the wheel of the 2019 Corvette ZR1 pace car and lost control during the parade lap.

The crash into the wall took out a good portion of the front end but nobody was injured. But IndyCar brought out the back-up pace car and got everything back on track.
