A New Electric Go Kart Hits 0-60MPH In An Insane Time

Zero to sixty times are getting quicker and quicker. But this insane new electric go kart is quicker than the new Bugatti Chiron. Yeah you heard that right. The Daymak C5 Blast can hit 0-60 in a staggering 1.5 seconds. That’s a full second quicker from 0-60 than the Chiron, according to Motor1.

How do they even make it that quick? By adjusting the weight. They use 8 Electric Ducted Fan (EDF) motors, which basically push the kart off the ground for less friction. The power comes from 4 motors at the back and a 10,000-watt motor to the rear wheels and a 2,400-watt battery pack. The only downside is that EDF motors aren’t the best for cornering. However they can be tuned, but if you can get a go-kart with that kind of speed, why mess with it?
