Add The Jurassic Park Ford Explorer To Your Garage!
Another movie car up for grabs! The first-generation Ford Explorer we’re talking about played a supporting role in the 1993 blockbuster hit “Jurassic Park” as an automated tour vehicle. You’ll remember it met its tragic end courtesy of T. rex.
Fans have replicated the vehicle over the years and this one, completed in 2019, is currently up for auction on Bring a Trailer. As a bonus scary surprise: the entire headliner has been replaced with a graphic of the T. rex about to tear into the transparent roof!
It features a vinyl wrap with the Jurrasic Park’s paint scheme and logo, front and rear brush guards, and yellow wheels. The one thing missing though is the movie Explorer’s Plexiglas sightseeing roof.
Although it currently shows only 56K on its odometer, Bring A Trailer says it was likely rolled past 100K at least once. If you want this cool ride, it’s being offered without reserve with bids accepted through Oct. 30.
