Let’s assume you bought a brand spanking new block and it’s back from the machine shop. It’s machined and it’s ready to go. Or is it?
Probably not.
You need to prep it for assembly. That involves cleaning the block and installing the various hardware pieces (galley plugs, oil filter adapter(s), cooler lines and so on).
