Are Traffic Tunnels The Way Of The Future? Ask Elon Musk.

We all know Elon Musk can be a little bit eccentric but when he says he’s going to do something, he always seems to follow through. Recently a tweet from Musk started out feeling somewhat like a joke, but it turned into an actual business plan that will solve a problem we all face every day…traffic. Musk seemed to be stuck in some bad morning traffic and tweeted:

“Traffic is driving me nuts. Am going to build a tunnel boring machine and just start digging…”

An hour later, Musk then posted some more tweets reading:

“It shall be called “The Boring Company” and “Boring, it’s what we do.”

If that doesn’t seem like a hilarious joke, I don’t know what does. However things took a drastic turn when Musk posted that this was in fact, a real plan he intends to carry out. The plan was further legitimized when he added “Tunnels” to his Twitter bio, which lists all of the companies he’s apart of. What do you think of all of this?
