Back Seat Alarms May Soon Be Mandatory In New Cars
June 8th, 2018
Just recently, backup cameras became mandatory in all new cars. Now there’s a push for rear seats alarms to be made mandatory since the number of people leaving kids and animals in hot cars seems to be always rising.
With warm weather finally here, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is reminding people just how hot it can get in cars, even if it’s comfortable outside. Some cars like GMC’s Yukon and Nissan’s Pathfinder already offer rear seat reminders to help stop this problem, but the question is: do you think it should be mandatory? Or should people just be responsible?
