Burned Challenger SRT Demons Will Have Mopar Fans In Tears
If you’re a Mopar fan, you may want to look away. Several new Dodge Challenger SRT Demons were destroyed in a vicious fire during transfer to their owners. And sadly, they were all destroyed and the trailer was a complete loss. Although luckily nobody involved in the incident has been reported injured.
The popular muscle cars were being transported on a Reliable Carrier trailer. While they were in Michigan, the trailer managed to catch fire which seriously damaged the Demons inside. It’s not yet known what the cause of the fire is but it is known that the fire was started/because of the trailer and not the vehicles inside.

Chrysler’s head of passenger car brands, Tim Kuniskis, called all of the customers that were affected personally and assured them their cars would be replaced with brand new ones. And while the new Demon owners were probably relieved, that’s a big hit to Chrysler since the Demon 1) isn’t cheap with an MSRP at $86,060 and 2) is being limited to a production run of just 3,300 for North America. So the question is, will there now be a production number of 3,303 or will 3 unlucky people now not have a shot at owning their very own Demon?
