Chevy Has Announced The New 400-Mile Range Electric Silverado
GM has officially announced its electric pickup. And it’s a Silverado with a 400-mile range. The automaker will build the electric pickup at its Factory ZERO electric truck plant in Detroit-Hamtramck, Michigan alongside the GMC Hummer EV SUV.
GM plans to deliver more than 1 million electric vehicles globally by 2025. Retail and fleet versions will offer customers a variety of options and are expected to be in high demand. Chevrolet has committed to build on the brand’s 100 years of truck expertise and leadership, while transitioning to an all-electric future in the light-vehicle space.
Additional details and images of the Silverado have not yet been released. The Silverado will compete with other full-size electric trucks such as an electric F-150 from Ford and the Tesla Cybertruck.
