David Hasselhoff’s Personal Knight Rider K.I.T.T. Car Heads To Auction
Although this wasn’t the KITT car, it was David Hasselhoff’s personal vehicle.
True Knight Rider fans know that K.I.T.T. was the real star of the show, not Hasselhoff. The car was voiced by William Daniels and do just about anything.
Fans will now have the chance to own the car via LiveAuctioneers. Hasselhoff is auctioning off his personal 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Unfortunately, since this wasn’t the tv car, it’s not equipped with K.I.T.T.’s legendary weapons arsenal. It is fully functional and drive-able, though.
According to the auction listing, if the final price exceeds 25% above the reserve price (the lowest price a seller is willing to accept for an item), Hasselhoff will deliver the car to the new owner personally. At the time of this article, the bid was at $975,000 with 10 days remaining. All bids need to be in by January 23, 2021.
