Driver’s Legs Fly Through Windshield After Drag Strip Crash

Wow, this is a lucky guy! Considering he was probably bouncing around the dashboard for a minute before catapulting his lower half through the broken windshield, it’s amazing he got up and walked away from the car.

All was well at the beginning of this drag race between a Chevy 55 and a Camaro until the Chevy over corrected and went into a roll. The windshield was one of the first things to go and you can see the driver’s legs come flying through the opening as the car comes to a stop. While the car is smoking and has extensive damage, the driver manages to crawl back through the interior and climbs out the driver door where he limps off to the side of the track.
