Dukes Of Hazzard Actor Gives His Take On Set Accident That Killed Camera Operator

Rumors have been circulating for years as to what happened on the set of the Dukes of Hazzard movie that led to an unfortunate death. Now, John Schneider, known as Bo Duke, is setting the record straight.

Shooting any film is incredibly hard work. Shooting a film as intensive and stunt-filled as Dukes of Hazzard is another level. It requires tons of time, effort, money, and talent to produce. Unfortunately, things were so intense on the set that during the filming, a cameraman, Rodney Mitchell, passed away on the job. His death was due to an issue with a piece of film equipment and Mitchell ended up falling and passing away.

With the story never officially being released, stories and rumors have grown over the years. So Schneider, who was on the scene at the time, decided that in an effort to honor his fallen coworker he would like to set the story straight.
