Firefighters Find Car Stuck In Canal Lock…With People Inside

Talk about ironic timing. Glendale, AZ firefighters were advising people how dangerous driving distracted can be on March 15.

Then, just one day later they got a call about a car in a pretty tight spot…in a canal lock. They obviously weren’t expecting to get a call about a car stuck in a canal and they definitely weren’t expecting there to be passengers in it.

The Glendale FD reiterated, “This is a good reminder to keep your eyes on the road and do not drive distracted.”

Police are still investigating how the car went off the road and got into the canal in the first place. Thankfully, both people involved only suffered minor injuries from the accident.
