Ford Announces Pricing Options for the 2024 Mustang, and It Can Get Up There
The 2024 Ford Mustang is one of the most anticipated cars of the year, and pony car fans can expect it to arrive at dealerships in Fall 2023. The debut model for the seventh generation is expected to embody more muscle and performance than its predecessors, and Ford announced its pricing options from its base model up to the highly desirable Dark Horse Fastback.
The MSRPs for all the 2024 Mustang trims are as follows:
- EcoBoost Fastback: $32,515
- EcoBoost Premium Fastback: $38,040
- EcoBoost Premium Convertible: $43,540
- GT Fastback $43,090
- GT Premium Fastback: $47,610
- GT Premium Convertible: $53,110
- Dark Horse Fastback: $59,565
For comparison, the 2023 EcoBoost Mustang had a starting MSRP of $29,205. However, Ford says that its standard automatic transmission is part of the price tag (which was once a $1,595 upgrade).
For Mustang fans with their eyes set on getting a V8, the base GT Fastback model starts at $43,090, which is a $1,755 increase when compared to the 2023 model.
The 2024 Dark Horse Fastback has an MSRP of $59,565, which is $1,600 more than the current Mustang Mach 1’s price of $57,965. For comparison, the 2023 Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE is priced at $48,295, though not all the upgrades are fairly balanced.
Considering that the upcoming S650 Mustang features new bodywork, new interior design, a larger infotainment screen, and a bigger selection of engines putting out even more horsepower, customers will definitely get what they pay for.
