Forgotten 1965 Mustang Brought Back To Life After 44 Years

This car hasn’t seen the road since 1975! You gotta love a good restoration series, right? Thanks to the internet and YouTube we can follow along with gearheads like classicmustangs429 and see how their projects turn out.



It’s a 3-part series that starts with the Mustang that’s been sitting since 1975, and an attempt to turn the 4.7-liter V8 engine over by hand via the crankshaft pulley. And we’re happy to report that the engine does rotate most of the way!



After lots of work, the series comes to an end and the 289 fires up and idles!
