Fun-Haver Bronco RTR Ultra4 4400 Truck Is Here and Demands Respect
When two-time Formula Drift champion Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s name is attached to a project, you already know it’s going to be out-of-this-world. Vaugh Gittin Jr. is known for delivering incredible stunts like drifting Mustang’s past flames and leaping Bronco’s across roads, and his latest Ford Bronco RTR Ultra4 4400 isn’t some domesticated animal – it’s a wild Bronco that complements his reputation.
Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Loren Healy were excited to debut their new Ultra4 4400 Racing truck. These rolling works of art represent the teams capacity to maximize their abilities through technology and engineering to create the best off-roading machines in history.
Triton Engineering teamed up with Fun-Haver off-roading in order to accomplish this tough task. The exterior may appear similar to trucks that debuted at King of the Hammers, but they’ve pushed the limits to create what they call “a new breed” of the Built Wild Ford Bronco.
For the first time, Gittin Jr. and Healy will be running mechanically similar trucks. Both are equipped with Ford 460 cubic-inch engines that make a stomach-churning 800 horsepower. However, the primary differences between the two are the wheels – Gittin Jr. will be running RTR Tech 6 bead locks and Loren Center Line Hammer. Both will be on Nitto Trail Grappler KOH spec tires.
These aren’t your typical housebroken Bronco’s that people purchase to do some mild off-roading or drop the kids off at school. No, these are some of the most technologically advanced off-road machines to grace the earth, and they’re ready to flex their proverbial muscles. The naturally-aspirated 460 cubic-inch motors are mated to a Gearworks Turbo 400 transmission and provide more than enough power and low-end grunt, even in the diciest scenarios they could encounter.
No expense was spared when building these trucks. From the Triton Engineering chassis to its suspension, these mean machines are ready to dominate. The front suspension, with its 21-inch travel, has IFS 4-gear portal by 74 Weldz with a 1.63 gear ratio. It also has Kibbetech upper A-arms, Fox Racing 2.5-inch coilovers, 3.5-inch bypass, and Spidertrax Off-Road sway bars. The rear suspension with 28-inch travel has a Triton Engineering trailing arm reverse 4-line and Fox Racing 2.5-inch coilovers and 4-inch bypass.
Vaughn Gittin Jr. was quoted talking about the opportunity to take part in these game-changing trucks:
I cannot express how excited I am to hit the track with Loren and our new Ultra4 Bronco! The result of a collaboration of Triton Engineering and Fun-Haver Off-Road’s collective experience and dreams will be nothing short of a game-changer for us. We have earned some great results despite being a serious underdog on paper with the original Brocky, now Brocky 2.0 is really going to let me take what I learned over the last five years to the next level!! See you all in Sturgis!
Loren Healy is on the record as well:
So many amazing people contributed to these new Ultra4 Bronco race trucks, we couldn’t do it without each and every one of our awesome partners! A huge thank you from all of us here at the Fun-Haver Off-Road team!
We can’t wait to see these trucks in action. They’ll be making their debut later this year at Ultra4’s Crandon, Wisconsin race on September 3rd.
