Gearheads In Indiana Have Mapped Out A Nurburgring Replica In The US

The Nürburgring is about as iconic as it gets when it comes to roads. Unfortunately, for us here in the U.S. it’s a bit of a haul. However, some gearheads in Indiana have taken about a year and taken the exact dimensions of the infamous track and made the American version – Schweinefiletring. It’s 175 miles of public roads tracing the hills and valleys of southern Indiana in a supersized (because is it American if it isn’t bigger?) loop which matches the ‘Ring. The name reportedly stems from the Indiana staple which is a pork tenderloin sandwich that’s sometimes called a schweinefilet.

A charity rally event called the Tire Squeal benefitting Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana will take place on the Schweinefiletring June 22 and 23, 2019 and is free for all to attend. All types of vehicles are encouraged.
