Get An American Flag, Bible, and Shotgun When You Purchase A Vehicle From This Alabama Ford Dealership

Alabamans and Chatom Ford are all about their God, guns, and freedom with this latest promotion. Right now through July 31st if you purchase a vehicle from Chatom Ford, you’ll also get yourself a Bible, an American flag, and shotgun free of charge. And while it was probably the intention, the gimmick has caught the attention of national media outlets. And in turn, sales have soared.

“It’s been running for three business days and we sold five cars. In a small town, business is booming,” sales manager Koby Palmer told USA Today in an interview.

The dealership decided to run the patriotic deal for enthusiastic locals who love the US of A.

“We live in a small town of 1,200 people. It’s a very small, rural area,” Palmer added. “They lean on their religious beliefs, their pride in America, and they love to hunt.”

Of course, Chatom Ford won’t just hand a shotgun to anyone. Customers will be handed a certificate that’s valid at local firearm shops which will only give you the shotgun if you’re over 18 and can legally own firearms.

And although these gifts are all included in the price, it’s been made clear that if you buy a car and leave without either a Bible, flag, and/or gun—that’s fine too.

“This is just showing support for our local community,” Palmer said. “Anyone that doesn’t 100% agree with what we’re portraying, we’re not trying to force our beliefs on anybody. We respect anybody that disagrees, no matter how vehemently they do.”
