The 2020 C8 Corvette was highly anticipated. And while a few have received their vehicles, General Motors is shutting down all new orders for the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette, effective immediately.
According to a leaked -email via a Corvette Forum, the automaker is citing heavy demand and limited supply due to the production shutdown caused by the United Auto Workers strike last year.

Luckily for those with orders already placed, the shutdown would not interfere or will it affect the ability to process a normal stock order. GM will open up orders a month earlier than planned for the 2021 Corvette on May 21.
