Goliath 6×6

Following the success of the VelociRaptor 6×6, Hennessey Performance has released details on its new Goliath 6×6. It’s based on the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado Boss Z71 and this thing’s a monster. Under the hood, the 6.2L V8 is upgraded with the HPE E700 supercharged engine that also includes a 2.9L supercharger system and 7 psi of boost. It puts out 705 HP and 675 lb.-ft. of torque. Other features include a custom 6×6 bed and an 8” lift kit. Would you buy it?

Presidential Limo

It’s been almost a decade since the presidential limo got a re-design. But President Trump arrived at the UN General Assembly in the “Beast” limo that is newly redesigned. It’s a Cadillac that sits on a truck chassis and is full of security measures, as you would imagine. Of course, the car is completely bulletproof, and the doors and windows are thickened – up to a foot thick and built-in tear gas launchers!

Tesla Semi
We haven’t seen too much on the Tesla Semi since its announcement, but it was caught visiting a Tesla office recently. And it’s much quieter and quicker than its diesel counterparts (for a big rig). Tesla founder Elon Musk claims the 0-60 time is 5 seconds without a trailer attached and after seeing how quick the truck gets going in the video, it may not be that far off. The truck is supposed to be in production by 2020 and will have both a 300- and 500-mile range option, do you think they’ll take off?

Bonneville Bike Record
High-speed records in cars and even bikes are impressive. But on a bicycle? That’s downright awesome. 45-year-old Denise Muller-Korenek hit 183.9 MPH on a bicycle drafting behind an 800 HP top alcohol drag racer on the Bonneville Salt Flats. That’s faster than a Boeing 757 during take-off! The carbon fiber bike was 7-feet long and sat on 17” motorcycle tires and the drafting pocket was only 46” wide! Check out the whole run here.
Huracan Near Miss
This was a close call. Way too close, especially for the biker. As a Lamborghini Huracan driver pulls out onto a mountain road in Southern California, he attempts to drift across two lanes of traffic. But the stunt didn’t quite work out and he almost took out the rider in the process. He missed hitting the motorcycle by mere inches and pulled over immediately after. The rider’s girlfriend gets off her bike and lays into the Huracan driver, we can’t blame her! You can watch the full video here.
