When you’re a gearhead, no matter what your choice of vehicle is, it’s like part of the family. And this guy used his car to help him out in one of the biggest moments of his life. Combine his love for the lowride with the fact that wedding proposals are bigger and more elaborate than ever these days and you have one original proposal on your hands.

Erick Carrillo posted the video to his Instagram which is already filled with pictures proving his enthusiasm for cars. The video took place in a parking lot somewhere with the help of a few of his friends. After a few hops from the Impala, the banner asking his girlfriend was revealed. You have to note that it’s impressive that he got the car set up so it would stay lifted in the air long enough for her to read it.

Oh and she said yes! Congrats to the happy couple.
