Hennessey Takes 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 To Next Level With 1,200 HP

In case you weren’t pleased with the stock 760 horsepower and 625 lb.-ft. of torque, Hennessey has gotten its hands on a 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500.

Before the muscle car is even in dealerships the Texas-based company released details. There will be 3 packages available to customers: the base Venom 850 kit, the middle-tier Venom 1000, and the top-of-the-line Venom 1200. Each package has numbers corresponding to the horsepower rating.

While the base and mid-range packages aren’t anything to glance over, the top tier package is insane. The Venom 1200 kit provides a whopping 1,200 hp and 1,000 lb.-ft. of torque on E85 or 109 octane racing fuel. To achieve this, the Hennessey team swapped out the supercharger for a twin-turbo setup.

No matter which package you choose, each comes with serial-numbered dash and plaque signed by John Hennessey along with professional installation and a limited one-year/12,000-mile warranty.
