If You’re Going To Run From Cops, Put Your Car In Park

Running from the police is never a good idea. But this guy made his already less-than-ideal situation even worse when he got run over by his own car after attempting to run from the cops.

ABC News reports that the man is “physically okay” after The Fairfax County Police Department released a video in which the suspect is seen getting out of his car but apparently forgetting one important thing: the parking brake. And instead of running literally in any other direction, he ran in front of the car which then runs him over as it rolls away.

He got up and tried to run away before police caught him after a short foot chase. He’s facing charges that include a third-time DWI, felony hit-and-run, illegal window tint and possession of marijuana after his arrest. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
