Impaired Silverado Driver Going Wrong Way Collides With Semi Head-On

This is insane to watch and miraculously, nobody died from this accident.

Drivers on Interstate 74 in Illinois watched in fear as the driver behind the wheel of a Chevy Silverado headed down the wrong side of the divided highway. Tyler N. Vanalsburg was the drunk driver behind the wheel and hit the Volvo semi traveling the correct direction. Both drivers looked like they tried to avoid the crash but unfortunately weren’t able to.

It’s reported that the Semi then coasted into the median before bursting into flames, closing the road for hours. Both were hospitalized, but only with minor injuries. However, Vanalsburg was charged at the scene with driving under the influence and driving the wrong way down the interstate.
