It’s Happened: The First The 2020 Chevy Corvette Has Wrecked

It was bound to happen sooner or later. The 2020 C8 Chevrolet Corvette was just revealed last month and already drivers are wrecking them on the streets.

Instagram user, wrecked_musclecars posted a photo with the caption: “Well that didn’t take long. My wife spotted this brand new wrecked #2020Corvette #Stingray on her way to Yosemite here in Ca.”

Turns out, a reader wrote in to Jalopnik confirming the accident and pinpointing the location to CA Route 120 between Moccasin and Groveland. Luckily, this particular Corvette is a pre-production model and wasn’t headed off to anywhere in particular.

It’s unclear who was driving at the time though luckily, nobody was injured.
