Jimmy Buffett’s 1972 El Camino SS Is Up For Grabs!

If you’re looking for a road trip car for this summer, check this out! A 1972 Chevrolet El Camino SS owned by Jimmy Buffet before it was acquired by its current owner is going to be crossing the auction block at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Palm Beach the weekend of April 11-12.

According to the auction description, the car is in great mechanical condition and is powered by a 350ci crate engine with a 4-barrel Edelbrock carburetor, mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. It’s equipped with power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, AM/FM JVC radio and subwoofers behind the seats. The bed shows well with no dings or damage, and features a brand-new spray-in bedliner for extra durability. This El Camino also sports a cowl-induction hood. The entire drivetrain and engine were fully restored in 2013, with receipts included.

There is no estimate on the car however, the Hagerty Price Guide says a similar car in perfect condition would go for around $28,000.
