Last Call: The 2024 Ram 1500 TRX Will Be The Final HEMI Supercharged V8 Pickup Truck
Trucks and muscle cars are probably the two most popular toys auto enthusiasts will always play with beyond childhood. But there are very few models that are able to bring the best of both worlds into a single vehicle. The 2024 Ram 1500 TRX just so happens to be that very perfect blend of a truck’s size and functionality, and the grit and power of a muscle car. It is also calling it curtains in 2024.

Dubbed as “apex predator of the truck world”, the 2024 Ram 1500 TRX is rocking a 6.2L Supercharged HEMI V8 under its hood that produces 702 horsepower, 650 lb-ft of torque, and can push it to a max speed of 118 mph. Not to mention that its acceleration can take it from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds, and it can clear a quarter-mile in 12.9 seconds at 108 mph. Basically, the Ram 1500 TRX is the ultimate off-road truck with proven power and performance to back it up.
But it, much like its HEMI-powered cousins, the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger, is also releasing a “Last Call” model of its own before retiring after only four years in production.
“The introduction of the Ram 1500 TRX ushered in a significant shift in off-road performance trucks with a halo effect that will last for years to come,” says Tim Kuniskis, Ram brand CEO. “This current chapter in Ram’s high-performance trucks is coming to a close, but it’s not the end of TRX’s story. While we’ll have more news to come at a later date, we’re proud to offer our loyal performance enthusiasts the very special TRX 6.2L Supercharged V8 – Final Edition.”
What Is New For The 2024 Ram 1500 TRX – Final Edition?
Much like its other “Last Call” relatives, the 2024 Ram 1500 TRX 6.2L Supercharged V8 – Final Edition is aiming to end its brief, but exciting career as one of the most aggressive off-roading trucks on a high note. It will be in eight exterior colors, which will include three new and unique hues (Delmonico Red, Night Edge Blue, and Harvest Sunrise), and will set itself up for even greater heights for personal customization. That includes a long list of tech, graphics, performance parts, and exterior accessories straight from the factory.
Along with its 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V-8 engine to deliver high outputs of power, this truck will also feature a high-torque-capacity TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission. Best of all, this HEMI V-8 will still be able to provide reliable performance during those extended driving periods.
For the interior, this truck will feature Patina stitching on the dashboard, seats, and an embroidered “TRX” logo on the seat backs. It will also have its own unique TRX 6.2L Supercharged V8 – Final Edition cluster splash screen, an ultra-premium center console badge with the specific unit’s build number, a passenger-side TRX dashboard badge in Satin Titanium finish, and Triaxle-suede door panel inserts. It will also include 4×4 weave matte carbon fiber on the truck’s instrument panel, doors, console, and steering wheel.
This truck will come equipped with a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, 8-way power driver and passenger seats, Head-Up Display, and a digital rearview mirror.
Some of the safety features on the truck will include adaptive cruise control, Lane Keep Assistant, pedestrian emergency braking blind-spot and cross-path detection, and ParkSense front and rear park assist with stop.
The Ram 1500 TRX 6.2L Supercharged V8 – Final Edition has a starting MSRP of $117,625, along with a $1,995 destination charge, and will be available in the fourth quarter of 2023.
