Limo Service Offering Free Rides To Voting Polls
The owner of a Nashville limousine company says there are no excuses why Nashville residents can’t get to the polls to vote this year. Why? He’s giving voters a ride (in style!) so that they can easily vote.
Shaun Gaffney, the owner of Judah Elite Travel and Transportation, normally has his fleet booked for weddings, corporate events, and parties. However, this year, the polls are being added to the list of services.
“This is a very important event. It don’t matter if you’re voting for Republican, Democrat, or whatever, we just want to make sure you’re exercising your right to vote,” Gaffney said.
Gaffney told News Channel 5 that anyone in need of a ride to their polling place can get there for free, no matter what part of Nashville they’re coming from.
“You have to pivot during the pandemic and during this time I feel like it’s my constitutional duty, it’s the least I can do for my community, said Gaffney”
Gaffney says even if just one person takes advantage of this opportunity he knows it was worth it. From now until November 3, a limo, SUV, or van will be shuttling voters to and from the polls. Anyone in need of a ride can call Judah Elite Travel and Transportation at 615-939-1416.
