Man At Gym Almost Gets Taken Out By Tesla

This guy was just trying to work out when he was almost taken out by a Tesla driver. Over the weekend in Lutz, Florida, a woman was trying to park her Tesla Model X to go to a nail salon but ended up putting the car into a gym’s wall. And nobody was hurt but this guy got quite the surprise!

The video shows the Tesla plowing through the wall before the driver gets out unharmed. The driver was not charged with a crime, though authorities are still investigating. She told them that she was trying to brake before the crash and she was pressing the brakes, but the vehicle kept accelerating.

Sudden unintended acceleration is actually not uncommon, however, it hasn’t really been seen in Teslas, since there are a number of safeguards to prevent it. That’ll get you moving faster at the gym!
