Man Leaves Surprise For Kid Who Keeps Riding His Bike In His Driveway

There are two types of people out there. The “get off my lawn” type and then there’s this guy. The owner of the driveway posted the video to the CanyonChasers YouTube account saying:

Every night I would get an alert from my driveway security camera, and at first, I was a bit annoyed, but then I found myself looking forward to the evening alert. And then inspiration struck, in the form of my wife giving me this great idea. What transpired has turned into the best part of an otherwise dreary pandemic summer.

After checking all the alerts on his phone the driveway owner soon realized the culprit was a little boy. The boy appears to be on daily neighborhood walks with his parents and isn’t able to resist the flat, wide-open slab of concrete in front of him and his bike. I mean, can you blame him?

The boy doesn’t do anything other than ride his bike up and down on his way past the house, no harm, no foul. So the driveway owner heads out one night with some sideway chalk and an idea. He maps out a racetrack for the boy and waits for the next motion alert. From the video, it appears the boy is quite happy to find the racetrack drawn out just for him. We have to hand it to this guy. Way to go making this little dude’s day!
