McLaren Driver Tests The Top Speed Of A Police Charger

Who says cop cars can’t keep up with super cars? The driver of this McLaren 720S challenged that theory when they sped past an officer at 155 mph on a highway in Georgia. The officer’s dash cam caught the pursuit and shows the police-spec Dodge Charger pushing its 5.7-liter hemi V8 to the limits.

To keep up with the McLaren the officer almost topped out when she reached 143mph but after 5 miles the driver finally admitted defeat and pulled over. According to The Drive, the McLaren driver was arrested for a DUI which explains the insane speeds and high chase.
