Mercedes-Maybach Left Nothing To Be Desired On Its Final G-Class Model

This may be the last of the G-Wagen models from Mercedes-Maybach but they’re certainly sending it out with a bang. The special edition G650 Landaulet has extra rear legroom thanks to a much longer wheelbase that’s been stretched by 22.7 inches. They added to the standard rear seats in order to make room for a pair of individual massage seats borrowed straight from the S-Class. The passengers in the back seat also have a partition to separate them from the front of the car, heated and cooled cup holders, and foldable tables. Who would want to ride shotgun with that setup in the back seat?

The G650 uses a Bi-Turbo V12 engine that puts out 630 horsepower and a 737 pound-feet of torque, which are channeled to all four 22-inch wheels. The open-top G-Class is the first off-roader from the Mercedes-Maybach sub-brand. Mercedes says it will have the G650 Landaulet on display at the Geneva Motor Show in March and then will be putting it on sale later in the month starting at around $485,000
