Mini Ford Model T Hemi Go-Kart Is Wicked

Check out this awesome go kart! And not just a run of the mill go-kart, it’ll take you back in time! This is an insanely accurate Model T replica go-kart, and c’mon you can’t say you wouldn’t love to have one of your own. We know we would!

This is so much more than just a Model T body dropped onto a regular modern go-kart chassis. Instead, it’s actually a custom-built half-scale replica T-Bucket. It’s powered by a 6.5 horsepower Tecumseh engine that’s tucked away beneath the replica hemi engine cover. It can go about 35-40 mph according to the original YouTube upload. They didn’t forget about the wheels and tires. Those are also well-proportioned and look like they could have come straight from an actual Model T. The only exception is they’re slightly smaller.

And get this, the replica even features small details like an actual carburetor and oil filter on the engine along with a leaf-spring suspended straight-axle front end. However, that only serves to drive home the accuracy of the reproduction kart. The only detail we could find that was missing will reportedly be added by the owner…an Ooogah horn! Other than that, this replica is spot on and we’ve got to say, it’s pretty awesome!
