New Toyota Supra Accidentally Leaked In Tweet

Supra fans, rejoice! Enthusiasts have been waiting a long time for a reinvented Toyota Supra, and an F1-concept of the car was unveiled at the Detroit Auto show back in 2014. Since then, Toyota has been working on bringing the car back officially.

Leaked images have been surfacing here and there, but not like this. Its big debut was set for the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit January 14-27, 2019, but looks like everyone can get a sneak peek of the all-new Supra before then with these screen grabs thanks to an oops by Toyota Mexico. Jalopnik was able to grab it before it was deleted.

The tweet sent out by Toyota Mexico basically shows us the whole exterior after a video was sent out. The damage has been done as people were quick to grab screenshots of the video of the all-new Toyota Supra for everyone’s viewing pleasure. The tweet was translated and read: “Our new #Supra arrived in Japan!, and this is the story that #AkioToyoda tells us about its return.”:

The only confirmed engine as of now is a four-cylinder turbo, but a hybrid has been rumored as an option.
