NHTSA Has Approved GM’s New Rear-View Camera Mirror

The new rear-view camera mirror released on the Cadillac CT6 has just been approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The “Full Display Mirror” can switch between a mirror reflection and a rear camera feed. The letter below from the NHSTA states that they find this camera mirror legal according to safety requirements:
