Not Even Ford GT Test Drivers Are Exempt From The Law…Or Are They?
UPDATE: According to a Twitter update found by Road and Track, Ford spokesperson Mike Levine confirmed that all charges have been dropped against the drivers of the Ford GT prototypes pulled over for speeding a few months back. “Data downloaded from the cars supported the fact that the drivers were not driving at the stated speed,” said Levine. So there you have it, having technology and an expensive prototype on your side does come in handy.
Every driver’s at risk for getting a speeding ticket if they’re not at the track. Even test drivers going for some high altitude rides in the 2017 Ford GT. According to Vail Daily a group of GTs were driving in Glenwood Canyon when they were pulled over by Colorado State Patrol
