Police Chase Ends In Middle Of Chiefs’ Parade Route
There was extra excitement in Kansas City during the Chiefs’ celebratory parade. Two suspects were arrested after a car chase along the parade route for the Super Bowl champion Chiefs.
It started around 8 a.m. local time when a car broke through a parade barrier. Police put out Stop Sticks, and although the vehicle ran them over, the car kept going down the parade route lined with fans.
You can see in the video that the police make contact with the car before spinning it out and stopping it with a second patrol car. Multiple law enforcement officers surrounded the car before taking the driver into custody.
It’s reported that the driver is under investigation for impairment and there is no known motive at this time.
