PowerNation Announces New Co-Hosts Of XOR
RTM, a Raycom Media Company and producer of the PowerNation automotive television brand, announced today that Jeremy Weckman and Eliza Leon will serve as co-hosts of XOR to start the 2018 season. XOR (Xtreme Off-Road) is a part of America’s #1 automotive how-to television brand PowerNation that reaches millions of viewers each week alongside popular shows like Detroit Muscle, Engine Power, and Truck Tech.
“It’s an exciting opportunity for us to bring in two new hosts of this caliber for the 2018 season,” RTM President Matthew Hawkins said. “Jeremy brings a wealth of knowledge with his background building off-road vehicles and Eliza has been working in shops all of her life.”
XOR Co-Host Jeremy Weckman grew up watching and working on cars with his father before attending the Dakota County Technical College for Automotive Repair and WyoTech with a degree in Collision Refinishing Technology and Street Rod and Custom Fabrication. Prior to joining RTM, Jeremy worked as a full-time car builder at Classic Auto Storage. Jeremy also installed long travel kits and suspension components at Camburg Engineering before starting his own shop, 21 Customs, where he built everything from four-wheelers, street rods, off-road vehicles, and everything in between.
“This has been a dream of mine for a long time,” says Jeremy Weckman, Co-Host of XOR. “I can’t wait to join the PowerNation team and get to work building some cool off-road rigs and interacting with the fans that make XOR the best off-road show on television.”
Joining Jeremy as Co-Host of XOR will be Eliza Leon. Eliza has been obsessed with monster trucks and 4x4s since she was a child pretending to perform maintenance on her tricycle. She purchased her first project truck at 18 years old, a ’77 GMC Short Bed Pick Up. Since then, she’s moved on to builds including a ’90 K5 Blazer, ’59 Willys Pick Up, 2012 Jeep Wrangler, and a ’02 Harley Davidson XL1200 Custom. Eliza is also bilingual being fluent in both English and Spanish.
“I am very excited to join the PowerNation team,” says Eliza Leon, Co-Host of XOR. “With my rich background in automotive and being both fluent in English and Spanish, I look forward to helping PowerNation and XOR grow into a global brand!”
XOR is one of TV’s highest-rated programs specializing in showing viewers how to fab and weld custom crawlers, buggies, diesels, and 4x4s before punishing them on the trail.
