Radio Flyer Is Coming Out With A Landspeeder
Who remembers Radio Flyer? Well the wagon maker has just unveiled something awesome, especially if you’re a Star Wars fan. They’ve created a miniature version of Luke Skywalker’s X-34 Landspeeder from Star Wars, according to The Drive.
It features two forward speeds (2 and 5 MPH), a reverse gear, an interactive light-up dashboard, seating for two and real sound effects from the movie. Unfortunately, it doesn’t hover but Radio Flyer did a good job by blacking out everything underneath the Landspeeder to create a hovering illusion. It’s powered by a 12-volt battery, costs $500 and will be available at Toys ‘R’ Us.
This weekend starting at 9am on Spike, Mike and Pat have their hands full with the finishing touches on Project White Fright. From turbo piping, plumbing the brakes, installing a carbon driveshaft, mounting the new wheels and tires, and a whole bunch more.
Plus Katie features a restoration of a rare 1967 Jaguar Type E Roadster on PowerNation. The car had sat in pieces in a storage unit for years before the owners decided to restore it. And even more challenging, the owners wanted it period correct. After a three year build with over 2000 man-hours, it was back to better than new with a 4.2 liter engine with a 4 speed. The car only has 30,000 miles on it. You won’t want to miss it so be sure and tune in.
