RTM, a Raycom Media Company and producers of the PowerNation automotive television program, announced its RockAuto Xtreme Off Road Adventure Sweepstakes today. Built by Ian in the Xtreme Off Road shop, one lucky winner will receive a fully loaded Jeep LJ!
“We are excited to be able to partner with RockAuto to give away this extreme Jeep,” RTM President Matthew Hawkins said. “Anytime we have the opportunity to do a giveaway and reward the amazing viewers that make PowerNation the #1 show in automotive how-to, we jump at the opportunity.”
“It’s going to be a great build by Ian resulting in an incredible Jeep giveaway, there won’t be another LJ like it out there,” RockAuto VP of Marketing Tom Taylor said. “You also can’t top the experience of the Xtreme Off Road Adventure. We are very excited about this partnership with PowerNation.”
The Jeep LJ will feature 40” tall tires, KMC beadlocks , Spidertrax axles, high pinion differentials, a half-cab conversion, tons of armor from Paramount, a Warn winch, and last but not least a hemi under the hood. There is no expense spared on the Jeep and it’s all built custom from Ian himself in the Xtreme Off Road shop.
In addition to the Jeep LJ giveaway, RockAuto is also sponsoring the Xtreme Off Road Adventure. The adventure consists of Ian leading a large group of riders to multiple off road parks traveling throughout Tennessee. Stops along the “Whiskey and Wheelin’” adventure include Jack Daniels Distillery and Chattanooga Distillery. Other sponsors along with RockAuto are Rusty’s Off Road, Rugged Radios, Daystar, Paramount Automotive, and Optima Batteries.
Ian Johnson, host of PowerNation TV’s Xtreme Off Road, shows viewers how to do 4×4 fabrication and much more. There’s everything from learning how to fab and weld custom crawlers, buggies, and diesels to taking them out and punishing them on the trails.
