Something’s Missing From This Dale Jr. Tribute

In honor of Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s last NASCAR race at Homestead over the weekend, Budweiser put together a tribute video.

It makes sense being that they were a big sponsor before the move to Hendrick Motorsports but there’s something missing in the video. Something pretty iconic for drivers. His number is never shown. Road and Track speculated that it may be due to Budweiser’s current sponsorship with Kevin Harvick or the fact that the #8 is still owned by Dale Earnhardt Inc. and his step-mom who weren’t willing to let it go when he joined Hendrick and still isn’t used currently in NASCAR. Regardless, it was one of the better tributes to Jr.
