Subaru’s Ending Industrial Production To Focus On Cars
Last year, Subaru’s parent company announced that it would shut down its industrial section in order to focus on its automotive brand. Now MotorTrend reports that the company has ended the production of engines for both industrial and agricultural use.
The company has made industrial products for more than 60 years producing engines for construction, industrial, and agricultural equipment as well as for snowmobiles and ATVs. But since September the company has stopped producing and selling these products. Not only did the company ring in the milestone by changing its name to Subaru Corporation this year, but the Subaru brand surpassed 1 million global sales for the first time in its history.
