Teenager Gets Head Stuck In Truck Exhaust Pipe

That’s a headline you don’t read everyday. And naturally, soon after the 19-year-old girl, Kaitlyn Strom, was freed she was cited with underage drinking. Strom was enjoying her day at the Winstock Country Music Festival, in Minnesota, when she had a few adult beverages and thought it would be a good idea to explore the inside of a tailpipe.

Unfortunately, even though her head DID fit into the pipe, it was getting out that was the problem. Eventually, fire crews ended up freeing her with an electric saw after 45 minutes and this now-viral FaceBook video has made the rounds.

If you’re asking yourself, “Why?” like most people would, the answer is simple. She told the Hutchinson Leader, “We were just all having fun and I saw this big exhaust pipe, and I was like, ‘Hey, my head could probably fit in that,’ so I tried it. It did fit, but it didn’t want to come back out.”

Strom didn’t know the owner of the truck, but he was just happy that she turned out OK. He’s already fully fixed his exhaust pipe, and he said that she didn’t even have to pay for it. To top it off, the exhaust pipe was briefly on display at a local bar ironically called “Darwin Tavern”.
