Tesla vehicles have received the highest safety ratings in crash tests and have continued to prove themselves in the real world with stories like these. A Tesla Model 3 driver suffered from a seisure and took a nearly 40-foot fall down an embankment and was able to walk away from the vehicle.

The driver drove through a barrier that was there to prevent people from falling the 40 feet down an embankment with a daycare center playground at the bottom. Thankfully, there were no kids on the playground at the time as the crash. The driver walked away from the accident alive but was rushed to the hospital due to his underlying medial issue.
As crews removed the Tesla Model 3, a small fire reportedly erupted, possibly from the battery pack being ruptured.
