The Celebration Of This Silverado Hitting 500,000 Miles Is Hilarious!

In a day and age where people get rid of their cars before they even hit 100,000 miles, it’s nice to see some people are still driving high-mileage vehicles out there! It’s not a very common thing to see a car or truck with 500,000 miles but there are some out there! There are even cars out there with 1,000,000+ miles, which is just amazing.

This truck is a 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500. It has the original engine but unfortunately the transmission started slipping around 450,000 so it had to be replaced. Other than that, that’s really impressive to have an original engine 500k mile truck!

The video is funny because it starts off so normal. You see the odometer change from 499,999 to 500,000 miles. The camera then pans over to a guy sitting in the passenger seat who whistles a party whistle and has a cupcake in his hand. The funniest part is when the driver turns the air conditioner on and “the car blows the candle out!” So funny! What better celebration than to have a mileage party for your car?
