The New Dodge Durango Has Lots Of Horsepower AND Space
The new 2018 Dodge Durango SRT is the ultimate family vehicle. It’s a three-row SUV that can get from 0-60 in 4.4 seconds and packs 475 horsepower. That’s a step up from its last refresh in 2014. Instead of a general redesign, Fiat Chrysler went for a performance upgrade.
The Durango SRT makes 475 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque. Road and Track also reported that it hits 60mph in 4.4 seconds and runs the quarter mile in 12.9 seconds. It also comes with a performance-tuned AWD system and 7 driving modes to choose from, including track and sport which both send more power to the rear wheels. You’ll also get a stiffer suspension, beefed up rear sway bar, Brembo brakes and an SRT-tuned exhaust. The interior gets an upgrade with carbon fiber trim pieces, lots of suede and SRT logos. Another perk is a day at the Bondurant performance driving school after you purchase the car to see just how well it actually handles.
