Last year there were petitions to keep The Recognizing the Protection of Motorsports Act and now it’s been re-introduced at the beginning of the new congress. It’s a bill that protects Americans rights to modify streetcars and motorcycles into dedicated race vehicles. The bill also safeguards the motorsport industry’s right to sell the aftermarket parts that enable racers to compete.
